Chuck Horstman

Director of Youth Ministries

B.A. in Student Ministries, Geneva College, Beaver Falls, PA

Chuck Horstman has been our Director of Youth Ministries since 2001 and he brings more than 18 years of youth ministry experience to the table as he works with and mentors our youth. Chuck and his wife, Karen, are lifelong residents in the area and live, with their son, Braeden, and daughter, Kaiya, in Beaver Falls.

While youth ministry has many ups and downs, Chuck’s passion is for kids to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and to help them live out that faith in a world that is filled with messages that are contrary to the scriptures. While many enter youth ministry as a stepping-stone into parish ministries, Chuck’s call is to work with youth and it shows in his life.

Chuck is active with the Beaver Valley Youth Network, the Re:Bloom Retreat Group, and is affiliated with the Ascension Presbytery (PCA) Network of Youth Leaders. In addition to Chuck’s formal training, he has attended additional training events hosted by Child Evangelism Fellowship, the Center for Youth and Parent Understanding, and the National Youth Workers Conventions.

Chuck is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. Yet, if there is one thing that Chuck would hope people would see in him is his love for Jesus and his prayer is that others would be drawn to Jesus through what they see within him.
